A-SC Update... and New Video!

Hey, it's Greg, and I have something special to share with you.

For Anti-Social Club, 2020 has been a year of changes. Of course, much of our year as an active band was put on ice due to the pandemic... but much was also put on hold by major life moves. For me and Rachael, it was a move over the summer from the Washington DC area to Reno, NV. More recently, this fall our keyboardist / programmer / producer extraordinaire, Peter Dowsett, moved from the DC area to South Dakota. This left Mike as our lone bandmate back East. Neither of these moves were anticipated even much more than a year ago, but hey, life happens!

The upshot is, not content to be confined to a single geographic area, we are now a band that touches three time zones, with a presence extending nearly from one U.S. coast to the other. And in spite of the distance, we are finding new ways to stay connected, to develop musical ideas, to be creative -- often inspired by our new surroundings. Perhaps we've morphed from Anti-Social Club DC to Anti-Social Club US? In any case, we just need some time to get settled, and then -- with an assist from the magic of technology -- we intend to pick up with a whole new phase of music creation from afar as we further develop and refine our craft.

In the meantime, despite not having much time for music of late, we've still found a way to spark some creative fire to close out this crazy year. In honor of Peter's recent move to South Dakota, and in honor of the upcoming winter solstice, I created the following video for Winter (Heat Mix), a remix of our song Winter which Peter created in the months following our release of Dark Before the Light. So, without further ado, check out our new "Fire and Ice" video at the link below!

If you dig this video, please be sure to "like" it and also subscribe to our YouTube channel while you're at it -- there may well be more cool videos like these in our future!

And with that, I wish a Happy Solstice / Happy Holidays / Merry Christmas to all our fans and friends! And Peter, congrats again on your move!

"Our echoes will beat in tandem, and keep us so warm."

Love,

Greg
